McGough signed a reserve/future contract with the Jacksonville Jaguars on January 15, 2019. On August 31, 2019, he was released.

McGough was added to the Houston Texans practice squad on September 1, 2019. On September 10, 2019, he was elevated to the active roster. On October 16, 2019, he was waived and re-signed to the practice squad. On January 13, 2020, he signed a reserve/future deal with the Texans.
