She began hosting the Spanish lifestyle television show Hoy en Casa in 1984, and she has subsequently hosted and made appearances in a number of shows. She was Prince Charles’ honored visitor in May 2001 when his Spanish Garden opened at the Chelsea Flower Show in England. In 2005, she was once more the honoree of the Royal Crown during a garden party held on a trip to Spain. When Preysler threw a welcome party for David and Victoria Beckham at her home in 2004, she officially became Spain’s hostess to the famous pair. She and Victoria become great friends, and she was frequently photographed.
